Apart from that, it is very, very delicious. The fact that it is made with milk means you don’t have to have any special ingredients in the house. I know I rarely have cream on hand, but there is always milk for my sons, so it was easy to whip up this dessert based on my favorite drink. If you’ve always used your ice cream maker for actual creamy ice cream, this is a fun new recipe to try.

Mocha Ice Milk
Makes 1 L

2 c. milk
1 tsp. instant coffee granules
1/4 c. chocolate drink mix (I used Milo
)
1 c. sugar

Mix everything together until the sugar is dissolved, then follow your ice cream maker’s instructions to make the ice milk.
