Dine Without Whine - A Family Friendly Weekly Menu Plan

Wednesday Recipe Roundup 7

It`s April already and I`m not going to fill your sugar bowl with salt or anything, but we do have plenty of yummy recipes for your this week. They`re gathered from far and wide across the Internet for your cooking pleasure.

As always, please feel free to share any must-see sites or recipes that you think we ought to know about!

We`ll start things off with a dessert, because I just can`t resist this heavenly Lemon Cornmeal Cake with Lemon Glaze and Crushed Blueberry Sauce. It sounds complicated, but it`s really a fairly simple recipe that anyone can make.

If you`re looking for something yummy, but super quick and easy, then Kraft has the perfect solution. Mini New Potato Bites use Kraft products and turn out adorable little potatoes that your family will love.

I`m going to be uploading a video later this week that will teach you how to knead bread if you aren`t familiar with the technique, but for those of you who want to skip the kneading all together, you might want to try this No Knead Bread recipe.

When I lived in Canada, I loved to keep ginger ale in the house. It`s a refreshing beverage, plus it`s really great when you`re feeling a little ill, to settle the stomach. Here in Guatemala, we can`t get ginger ale too often, but I came across this neat recipe for making your own homemade version of ginger ale! I`m sure it`s healthier than the Canada Dry version, too.

Nami Nami has a really creamy looking onion soup that I will be trying soon. If you`re a fan of onion soup and want to make your own, I suggest you make her very simple Silky Onion Soup with Crispy Croutons.

That`s it for this week`s roundup . . . have you got any recipes we need to see?
