Dine Without Whine - A Family Friendly Weekly Menu Plan

Wednesday Recipe Roundup 4

It`s that time of week again. Thanks to everyone being sick around here, I`ve missed posting for a day, but I`m sure you`ll find it in your hearts to forgive me!

Here are your delicious recipes for this beautiful, sunny (here at least) Wednesday.

Chicken is delicious pretty much any way you prepare it. But I`m pretty sure that this Chicken Piccata is one of the best ways I`ve seen to prepare a chicken breast. And I fully intend to try this recipe out after my next shopping trip!

In honor of St. Patty`s day coming up, I thought I`d look for some green recipes . . . this Shrimp with Green Sauce is elegant, but simple enough to whip up for unexpected dinner guests.

Looking for a new side dish that isn`t boring and ugly? Then you should try out this super easy green bean dish with cherry tomatoes. I bet even kids would tuck into this tasty food.

For something green, but a bit more complicated (but still totally doable!), I`d recommend this delicious Green Coconut and Pork Curry. Mmmm, click on the link to see some mouthwatering photos!

You`ve no doubt heard about Green Goddess dressing, but if you`ve never tried it, you no longer have an excuse. With this recipe, you can whip it up yourself and try it on veggies, chicken or with chips. The only thing to note is that this is made with raw egg, so make sure you use pasteurized ones.

For dessert, how about someĀ  Negative Calorie Chocolate Cake . . . who could resist something that actually BURNS calories and has “chocolate” in the title? (make sure you read how she got the negative calorie conclusion, it`s not as guiltless as I`d like, sadly enough.)
