Dine Without Whine - A Family Friendly Weekly Menu Plan

Wednesday Recipe Roundup 3

Wow, this past week has just flown by! Can you believe it`s March already? Time to start thinking about spring, fresh baby greens and Easter recipes. Stay tuned for more of those, but in the meantime, here are some awesome recipes from around the internet.

Ever wanted to try your hand at crab cakes? While they sound pretty darn exotic, this recipe proves that just about anyone who can stir can make their own crab cakes.

Here`s a recipe that sounds just divine and oh so elegant, Fig Balsamic Vinaigrette. It`s not as complicated as it sounds, but still a hit with guests and perfect for a spring salad!

Not quite ready for spring salads? Then you might enjoy this Roasted Vegetable Salad from the French Cooking page on About.com. It`s hearty while still maintaining its status as a salad.

Time to put that slow cooker to use. While this sloppy joes recipe isn`t exactly what we`d call gourmet, it is something that your kids will eat, which is always good, right? Plus, it cooks up in the slow cooker, so it`s easy to make on days when you know you won`t have much time in the kitchen.
