Looking for Halloween recipes? We've done a special holiday themed round up this week to help you out.

It’s high time to start thinking about what you’re going to serve at the Halloween party this year and there are plenty of ideas around the internet. While we will be featuring some great ideas here on Gourmet Mama, as well, I’ve collected some awesome ideas from other blogs, too.

For example, if you really want to gross people out, this Kitty Litter Cake looks too disgusting to even think about trying. Would YOU eat one of those chocolate logs?

Cackleberry has a non-disgusting, seriously cool idea for a pumpkin pizza that your kids can help you make for Halloween. Looks delish!

Rice Krispy Skulls on Sticks are perfect for little kids who wouldn’t eat anything too gross and Upside Down Pumpkin Filled Chocolate Cupcakes are a great dessert for adults and kids alike.

How about some Sticky Bat Wings? The black, slimy chicken wings sound delicious if you can get past the looks.

For those with a sweet tooth, a coffin cake and monster are a great centerpiece.

I’d love to hear what your favorite Halloween recipes are! Share them in the comments.

Summer has sprung and with it being Canada Day today for all the Canucks out there and the Fourth of July coming up shortly, I thought some summery recipes would be particularly appropriate. So, if the summer heat is getting to you, try one of these delicious recipes from around the web.

Pasta salads are an old standby for celebrations like the ones this month, but this Garden Pasta Salad is really something special. It is packed with delicious vegetables and there really isn’t a lot of pasta included, so it would be a gerat choice for those on a diet, as well.

If you’re looking for an excuse to fire up the BBQ and keep the heat outside, then you might want to try these mouthwatering Indian-Style Grilled Chicken Breasts. Or, for something a little more exotic, how about Grilled Swordfish Steaks?

Another tasty recipe is this Tuscan Bread Salad, so light and so perfect for hot summer afternoons.

And speaking of bread . . . Turkey on Foccacia is a great way to enjoy a meal that isn’t too heavy or hot. Remember, sandwiches are great for any meal! There’s a Frozen Lemonade Pie just below that recipe on the same page, sounds tasty!

For those of you in the U.S., a beatiful flag cake would not go amiss and here is a recipe for one.

It´s been busy, busy, busy around here and so this week I took the liberty of looking for some super fast recipes that you can whip up in just a few minutes . . . yet still impress company with.

For those of you who prefer to have a full menu plan, here´s a quick meal for every night of the week.

To really kick it up a notch, while keeping things quick and easy, try this Broiled Salmon with Spinach Feta Saute. It looks like a delicious dish that anyone would be able to make . . . a great dish to have in your standard company´s coming recipe box!

Or, if you just want to be able to toss something in the oven and deal with it later, then Summer Squash and Sausage might be just the ticket. Also in that hearty meal vein, we have Pantry Potato Soup.

What are your favorite fast dinner recipes?

It`s been a hectic week around here with my youngest son turning 2 and a lot of work pouring in for both Cherith and myself. And everyone knows the secret to being productive is a great breakfast! Well, that`s what our recipe roundup is focusing on today. If you`ve been finding yourself lacking in ideas for that first and most important meal of the day, here are some ideas to get you going.

First up, a classic breakfast, or two. Here are some delicious, diner-style recipes for Buttermilk Waffles and Sour Cream Pancakes. I`m not a huge fan of pancakes, but there are some little people in my family who would go nuts for these!

A great way to make breakfast once and eat for a week is to take the time to make some granola. What I love about this is that you can totally customize it, adding dried fruit and nuts of your choice, yogurt covered raisins, chocolate chips, or other grains and spices to taste. Plus, it keeps for quite some time and makes a great snack, too.

Another make ahead breakfast that sounds divine are these Strawberry Lemon Muffins. Rest assured they will be making an appearance soon in our home since we are fans of both flavors!

Cranberry Granola Cookies are a great way to fool your kids into thinking they`re getting a treat for breakfast. Though these really do sound like a treat . . . maybe we`re not fooling anyone!

And last, but not least, here`s a raw breakfast smoothie recipe. Even if you aren`t a raw foodist, having a nice smoothie once in a while will give you an energy boost and get you going in the morning.

I`ll leave you with a shot of my son`s birthday cake that I made for him on Sunday . . . which we had for breakfast on Monday!

While it`s fun to cook nice elegant meals from time to time, if you`re a normal mom, you need fast, delicious dinner ideas on a more regular basis. So, with that in mind, I`ve searched the internet for dishes that are both fast to make and appetizing.

Fish is well known for cooking up fast and this Quick and Easy Halibut is something that you can whip up in no time while still impressing your family and friends. Or, for something even more elegant and just as fast, this Quinoa Salad With Scallops & Snow Peas fits the bill, too.

If you prefer beef to fish, then you might want to try making some tasty Grilled Meat Munchers that will give you an excuse to set up the grill . . . or just make them in a skillet if you prefer.

In the realm of chicken, this Chicken Oregano sounds divine and fast, as does 10 Minute Szechuan Chicken.

We`re nearly to the end of April and I`m about to plant my rooftop garden. Here in Guatemala, we have access to fresh produce year round, but I know that for those of you living in cooler climates, things are just starting to sprout. Pretty soon you`ll be getting plenty of fresh veggies and berries and fruit from local farmers and we`ll be here with recipes and cooking techniques to help you turn out some amazing meals!

Now, on to some of the best recipes we`ve found this week on the blogosphere!

Let`s start with the desserts . . . if you have a sweet tooth and want something a little different, yet still elegant, might I suggest these wonderful looking Praline Vanilla Custards?

If you`re not into praline flavors, what about the oh-so-classic peanut butter and chocolate combo? Over at Orange Blossom Water, there`s a recipe for Magic in the Middles . . . chocolate cookies with peanut butter centers. Sounds like a match made in Heaven!

Impress your visitors with this spring inspired dish, Gnocci in Heirloom Tomato Sauce. It`s the perfect meal for guests and if you use frozen gnocci, you`ll have it whipped up in no time at all.

These cute little TMTs (Tuna Melt Tomatoes) are so simple and yet such a neat idea. Perfect for convincing your kids to eat some real food or as a side dish for family and friends.

And finally, whether you are vegetarian or not, tofu can be a great way to get some protein into your diet. Here`s a neat recipe for baked tofu that looks just scrumptious!

It`s that time of week again, time to check out all the hot new recipes lurking on blogs around the internet! There are some really delicious ones this week, too.

If you aren`t able to eat eggs or are just trying not to use as many after all the ones that were used for Easter, then you might want to check out this mouthwatering Eggless Fudge Brownie recipe.

After all that holiday stress, you might need to relax a bit. So mix up a Mai Tai cocktail, put your feet up and enjoy the fact that Easter is over.

Or how about getting rid of all that cute, but rather inexhaustible supply of Easter candy? Here are some great recipes to use it all up.

And totally non-Easter related, now that it`s spring, you`re probably starting to look at salads and greens more for dinner. Well, then, you also could use some new salad dressing recipes, I`m sure!

A collection of the best Easter recipes from around the internet.

Can you believe that Easter is so close already? I just realized a couple of days ago that this year, Easter falls on my birthday, so double celebration!

Here are some recipes to get you going for this holiday . . . stay tuned for some bunny buns that I`ll be posting a little later today, as well!

For a super simple dinner leading up to the big holiday dinner (or perhaps to use up leftovers), you might want to try Easy Cheesy Potato Chowder . . . looks like something kids would adore.

If you`re still stuck on what to do for Easter brunch, then I suggest heading over to She Knows Parties and checking out the preplanned menu ideas there. Everything from Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese Frittata to Carrot Cake Cupcakes sounds delicious.

Planning on making a traditional lamb dinner but don`t know what to do with it? About.com has the solution with NINE Greek Lamb Recipes!

Since ham is the most popular alternative to lamb for the Easter dinner, this Orange Marmalade Ham is the perfect main dish for the holiday.

Also, Laura over at Real Mom Kitchen has a bunch of Easter recipes written up for you. Recipes include Pineapple Casserole, Summer Spinach Salad, and Cheese Potatoes.

And, if you`re feeling particularly ambitious and have the time, these homemade Marshmallow Easter Eggs are a great way to surprise friends and family!

Wednesday again, folks, and you know what that means! A gathering of some of the tastiest recipes found on the internet this week! And here they are . . . with a heavy focus on the sweet stuff since that`s totally what I`m craving right now.

It`s not berry season, but if you can get your hands on some frozen berries, you won`t have a shortage of yummy foods to make! Try these mouthwatering Raspberry Turnovers from YumSugar, to start.

Mocha Brownies. There`s really no need to say anything more than that. If I weren`t on a diet, I`d probably scarf an entire pan of these. Actually, diet or no . . . I`d probably do it.

Want a fancy something to impress your man or some company? How about an easy version of Bananas Foster?

Remember the days of scooping fingerfuls of cookie dough out of your mother`s mixing bowl when she wasn`t looking? Remember when that became a deadly thing to do because of salmonella and other nasty things that raw eggs can do to you? I`ve had salmonella and since I know precisely what it does to you, I don`t dare let my kids enjoy what was once a truly awesome rite of childhood. Until this recipe. Raw Cookie Dough That`s Safe to Eat. Hello! What a great idea!

Cherry and Apricot Cobbler takes a familiar recipe and pumps it up a notch, definitely going to be making this one for the family once cherries are in season here!

And just to round the sugar session off before we all go into a diabetic coma, why not make up some homemade french fries for your kids?

For something a little healthier, this Italian Chicken Salad Sandwich looks soooo good and I bet it would be a huge hit with men!

Well, lots of quality recipes out there this week, so let`s take a look. As always, please feel free to leave links to your favorite recipes in the comments.

Looking for a simple idea for breakfast? I love these yummy buttermilk scones! You could add lemon zest, raisins or cinnamon to them, as well.

Here`s a decadent chocolate recipe for all you chocoholics out there . . . Flourless Chocolate Cake. I`m so trying this on my cheat day.

Those of you who have been reading this blog for any amount of time probably realize that I have an unhealthy adoration of chorizos. Which is why this absolutely awesome Chorizo and Potato Frittata is totally jumping onto this week`s menu!

I dare you to try making this super cheesy French Onion Soup without drooling on your computer monitor. It`s the perfect dish to whip up for company or to impress your mother-in-law.

This last one isn`t actually a recipe, but these cupcakes are really beautiful and not difficult to make. If you want to show off your mad decorating skills at the next snack day at your kids` school, I`d check out this post on decorating wedding cupcakes.
