Spice Up Dessert with Party Jello

party-jello-3

Jello is a pretty boring dessert, right? Not necessarily. In fact, these fun Party Jello Cups are just the thing to turn an ordinary dessert into something really special. While you can make them for any day of the week, they are particularly good for children’s birthday parties, picnics or school snacks. And, these cute little Jello cups are extremely easy to make!

Party Jello Cups

Makes 4 cups Jello

1 pkg. red Jello (cherry, strawberry, etc.)

1 pkg. clear Jello (pear, lemon, etc.)

1 c. funfetti sprinkles (use only large sprinkles, small ones will melt)

Mini plastic cups

Make up the red Jello according to the package and fill the plastic cups half full. Depending on the size of the cups this will make anywhere from 6-15 cups. Let set 2 hours in the fridge.

Make the clear Jello according to the package and fill cups to the top. Let chill until sticky, but not completely set, about 20 min.

Sprinkle about 1 tsp sprinkles on top of each cup, then use a fork to carefully whip up the top layer (clear Jello only) to create the lumpy, colorful look. Let set completely before serving.
