Hot Lemonade: The Natural Sore Throat Remedy

Growing up, whenever we had a sore throat, Mom would make us a cup of Hot Lemonade to sooth the throat. With winter well underway, sore throats are everywhere so I figured it was time to share this tasty beverage that doubles as a soothing remedy. It is super simple to make and great for a cold winter day.

Hot Lemonade

Juice of 1/2 Lemon or 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
Honey to Taste
2 Cups Hot Water

Boil a two cups of hot water. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon into your favorite mug and fill with hot water. Add honey to taste and stir until it is disolved. Enjoy!
