Fruit Pizza

fruit pizza recipe

Looking for a fun way to use fruit in a healthy dessert? This fruit pizza is the perfect way to go! It combines a tasty cookie crust with cream cheese and fresh fruit. You can use any fruit at all, so just adjust your toppings for the season. Right now is the perfect time to make use of all the berries showing up at the farmers markets and make a tasty berry pizza!

Just a note though, if you’re going to use bananas or apples, dip them in diluted lemon juice before putting them on the pizza so they won’t discolor.

Fruit Pizza

1 batch sugar cookie dough

1 package (8 oz) cream cheese

1 Tblsp. orange juice

1 Tblsp. sugar

Fresh fruit

Spread the cookie dough out on a pizza pan to make the crust and bake for 15-20 minutes at 450ยบ or until cooked through. Let cool.

In a bowl, mix the sugar, orange juice and cream cheese until the sugar is dissolved. Spread the mixture over the pizza crust.

Arrange your fruit as you wish and serve! This is a very simple dessert that just about everyone will love.
