Slow Cooker Curried Chicken

Slow Cooker Curried Chicken

This recipe is so simple, it can barely be called a recipe . . . but it’s also exceedingly delicious and well worth waiting for! I whipped it up the other morning before a looooong day of Christmas shopping and came home to a hot meal. Perfect for the busy holidays.

Slow Cooker Curried Chicken

Serves 6

2 lbs. chicken
4 Tblsp. curry powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1.5 c. water
1 Tblsp. chicken consomme powder

Mix the water, curry, garlic and consomme together until smooth. Cut the chicken into pieces and place in the slow cooker. Pour the curry mixture over the chicken, put the lid on and cook on Low for 7-8 hours or High for 4-5 hours.

Goes well with rice and veggies. I shredded mine and drizzled some of the gravy over the dish.
