Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

Banana chocolate chips muffins make a great breakfast, snack…or even dessert and is a perfect way to use up old spotty bananas and get your kids to eat something healthy! They are also super quick and easy and if your up to it, its a great recipe for kids to help out with and get their hands dirty!

Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

1 3/4 cups flour

1/3 cup sugar

2 teaspoons baking powder

1 beaten egg

1/2 cup milk

1/4 cup cooking oil

3-5 bananas…depending on their size.

1 cup chocolate chips

Grease 12 muffin cups or line with paper cups. In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, sugar and baking powder. Mix in egg, milk and oil all at once and stir until just moistened. Ok…now here comes the goey part that the kids love to join in on. Peel the bananas and squish them between your fingers into the bowl. You want there to be small chunks of bananas in there. Mix in the bananas and the chocolate chips and spoon into the tins. Bake at 400 for 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
